Two new stained glass windows in St Peter's Church, Parwich, are engraved with the names of all the children in the parish in the year 2000. These include those born whilst the windows were in production. The windows were installed as part of the refurbishment of the chapel/meeting room.

The windows were designed and engraved by David Pilkington of Chapel-en-le-Frith, who is an Associate Fellow of the Guild of Glass Engravers and a specialist in lettering. They were made by Illumin Stained Glass of Macclesfield. The borders depict the sacraments in the wheat and grapes, and include representations of growth, blossoming and fruition in nature.
