Hognaston church is a restored medieval church in the centre of the village
with a crude twelfth century carving over the south door.
Hognaston is a lively, close knit village, and the church is a vital part of village life.
Monthly services:
First and Third Sundays 10. 30 a.m. Morning Worship
(varies from Prayer Book Mattins to an informal family service!)
Second Sunday 10. 30 a.m. Holy Communion
(modern language) with Sunday School.
Fourth Sunday 9. 00
a.m. Holy Communion (Prayer Book - said)
On Fifth Sundays there
is a United Benefice Holy Communion at 10 30 a.m., at a location publicised
in advance.
Baptisms are conducted by arrangement at a main Sunday service.
